ReLux Consignment ("We," "Our," or "Us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we manage and protect the Personal Information of our customers, consignors, and website visitors.

  • When you complete a consignment agreement form (in-person or online).
  • When you register for an account (e.g., Consignor Portal).
  • When you purchase an item via our website or in-store.
  • When you sign up for our mailing list.
  • When you contact us directly via email, phone, or social media.

Indirect Collection

  • From third-party service providers (e.g., Luxury Authentication Australia and Real Authentication) as part of our item authentication process.
  • Through analytics and tracking technologies (like cookies) when you use our website.
  • From publicly available sources where relevant to our business activities (e.g., social media).

We hold Personal Information in both physical forms (such as hard copy consignment agreements) and electronic forms (on our secure servers and IT systems).

  • Service Delivery — To process sales, deliver items to buyers, and provide customer support.
  • Consignor Payouts — To process weekly commission payments to our consignors.
  • Communication — To respond to your enquiries, provide updates on your items, and inform you of changes to our services.
  • Direct Marketing — To send you marketing communications about our products, services, events, or promotions (you can opt-out at any time).
  • Compliance — To comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
  • Website Improvement — To monitor and improve the performance and user experience of our website.

6. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

Under the APPs, you have a right to access Personal Information we hold about you and to request that we correct that information if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

Access Request

Please submit a request in writing using the contact details in Section 10. We will generally respond to your request within 30 days. We may charge a fee for providing access where the request is complex or involves retrieving archived records.

Correction Request

If you believe any information we hold is incorrect, please notify us immediately. We will take reasonable steps to correct it promptly.

We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties in the course of our business operations, including:

  • Service Providers — Payment gateways, logistics/courier companies, authentication services (Luxury Authentication Australia & Real Authentication or other), website hosting and IT support providers.

Overseas Disclosure

ReLux Consignment is likely to disclose Personal Information to overseas recipients for the purposes of item authentication and website functionality. The countries where these recipients are likely to be located include the United States of America (via services like Real Authentication, email providers, and website hosting).

By providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to this overseas disclosure. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle your Personal Information in accordance with the APPs.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:

  • Implementing physical security measures at our premises (83 Majors Bay Road, Concord).
  • Using secure data storage and IT systems (e.g., encryption and firewalls).
  • Restricting access to Personal Information to personnel who need it to perform their duties.
  • Securely destroying or de-identifying Personal Information when it is no longer required for any purpose for which it was collected.
